Dogs in the Brewery!

It's official: dogs are allowed in our taproom!

Unleashed Brewing Co. is the first brewery in all of BC to be approved by Interior Health to allow dogs within our taproom and we couldn't be happier. It's been a dream of ours from the beginning to have a brewery filled with craft beer lovers and their dogs. We do also have a dog free zone - our whole mezzanine!

We couldn't have gotten here without the help of other breweries, like Cold Garden Beverage Company in Calgary, AB, who paved the way for dogs being allowed in taprooms across Alberta. Black Lab Brewing Inc.Ā in Toronto, ON was also a big help in detailing the successes they've had in being able to allow dogs into their taproom.Ā 

We're excited to see more dog friendly taprooms in BC, so let's all work together to make this a huge success. There are some rules that need to be followed when bringing your dog to Unleashed Brewing Co. - if you do bring your dog, make sure you're familiar with, and follow the rules below:

We've got a lot of fun things for your dog, too!

  • Salty Walts bone broth = dog ā€œbeerā€
    $1 from every jar sold goes toĀ Paws it Forward

  • Spent grain dog treats made from our own spent grain. Made with love by us!

  • Dog bandanas in a variety of colours and sizes, made by The Dog Days Co. (local to Kelowna!)

  • Complimentary dog beds for them to use. We make these from the grain bags we have left over from brewing, and sew the slip covers ourselves.

  • Bowls of fresh water.
